Cambridge Exam Days

An activity in the High School I particularly liked was the Cambridge Exam!

It sounds weird, but yeah! I loved that day.

I did the B1 exam, and it went really well! In fact, the evaluators had to cut the speaking test, perhaps, me and Jared did it great! Writing was very easy, at least for me… And the most difficult one was the listening part, because they spoke so weirdly and the audio was saturated. And well, my ears hurt a bit because of that…

While we were doing all of the tests, the evaluators were helping us so much! They even spoke to us in Spanish to explain all the instructions, rules and the utensils we needed. Later the exams, were more friendly and not that formal, so I tried to communicate with them and stuff! I had a great time with them.

When we had the pause for a break and attended to our human needs, going to the bathroom, eating or drinking something… I went to the cafeteria, and Marissa gave me some salchipapas. I didn't have enough time to eat all of the cups so… I talked to Álvaro and he and all the teachers let me finish it before the speaking exam, even the evaluators gave me time for it! I hurry up and a few minutes later my stomach hurts a bit, because of all the food I eat in less than seven minutes!

After all that hurry, it was a great day because of another fact… One of the assistants we had three or two years ago was here to do our speaking exams! It was a wonderful moment to meet Pablo again! He was and still is an awesome assistant, and the fact that he was the one taking our exam… It was a nice experience. I hope I meet him again some other time in my life!

In conclusion, it was a great day in that horrible week!
