INTER SCHOOL COMPETITION

Hello dear reader

In this article you are going to see the incredible tournamente that IES Nuestra Señora de la Almudena had with the department of Physical Education

So let´s start from the beginning. We were in fourth grade in ESO (Lower Secondary Education) and in Physical Education we started playing an incredible sport that would change our lives. The name of the sport is volleyball. I already knew how to play but my classmates started playing and they started playing the sport.

It was funny because it was like I was a teacher helping our teacher Adan but I wasn´t paid.

In the next weeks we all were learning very quickly and we wanted to play a tournament and last year we had a physical education teacher called Daniel that went to another high shcool, so as Adan was a very close friend with him they contacted each other and they made the tournament. It was amazing, it was like if we were a professional team. We first went like "playing out of home". It was against highschool "La Estrella".

An amazing environment, the people, the level of volleyball they had...it eas amazing as they had several volleyball courts with net. We played and we all had a wonderful time because it was not only for 4ESO students, wer also brought 3ESO and 1ºBachillerato.

Then, on May, they came to our high school and we felt like "we are at home, come" and it was a little bit messy, becasue we only have 2 courts to play volleyball and with audacity we made 3 courts to play. It was fantastic, my team reached the final and won the tournament.

At the end of the competition IES Almudena selected their best players to play like the stars game and I played and with the help of my teammates we won, so we can sat IES Almudena win 2 victories that day.
